New Associate Christina Smith

SEATTLE — McKinley Irvin, a Seattle-based family law firm, has hired Christina L. Smith as an associate attorney.

Before joining McKinley Irvin, Smith practiced civil insurance defense litigation with an emphasis on professional liability tort claims, real estate malpractice and appellate practice. Smith also provided civil legal representation to juveniles in dependency actions with Clark County Legal Services of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Smith graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University in 1994 with a bachelor of arts in Sociology. She also graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 2001. While at the UW, she practiced as a Rule 9 intern for the Children and Youth Advocacy Clinic and interned in the family law programs of the King County Bar Association. Her professional memberships include the Washington State Bar Association and the King County Bar Association.

Smith is admitted to practice in all Washington state courts and the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
